Vienna, Va. – April 29, 2019 – PRLog – The Institute for Excellence in Sales (IES) is proud to present Gigi Schumm, SVP of Worldwide Sales, ThreatQuotient, Inc., with the Third Annual Women in Sales Executive Leadership Award. The award will be presented on May 31, 2019 at the Marriott Fairview Park in Falls Church, VA. The award will be presented at the Ninth Annual IES Sales Excellence Award event.
The keynote speaker for the Ninth Annual Sales Excellence Awards will be Alan Stein, Jr. Stein is an organizational leadership speaker and author who spent over 15 years as a performance coach before transitioning those skills to help businesses perform at a world-class level.
In its third year, the IES Women in Sales Executive Leadership Award celebrates female sales trailblazers that have inspired change and optimized sales organizations by recognizing women that have demonstrated outstanding leadership and strategic vision in sales.
“It is an honor to receive this award from IES,” said Schumm. “I learned early in my career that sales is as much about building relationships and listening to what problems people are trying to solve, as it is about a process with analysis and solutions. This is especially true in the cybersecurity industry, where new problems and solutions are appearing every day. Schumm joined ThreatQuotient in 2017 to oversee revenue growth and drive the company’s global channel strategy. With more than two decades of experience leading high-performing sales and services organizations, Schumm has a proven track record of leading change, optimizing sales organizations, and exceeding revenue and margin goals.
Prior to ThreatQuotient, Schumm served as Vice President and General Manager Public Sector at Symantec. During her 15-year Symantec tenure, her roles included VP Eastern Area and VP Services. Schumm holds a Bachelor of Arts from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Ct.
